Rita's Tea Room

Purchased by Canadian entertainer Rita MacNeil in her hometown in 1982, Rita’s Tea Room and Gift Shop has been open since June of 1989, but the original one-room schoolhouse dates back to the ‘30s. Renovated and expanded in 1998, Rita’s Tea Room has welcomed countless visitors who have stopped by to say hello and enjoy a cup of tea. Open seasonally, it offers warm hospitality, home-baked goodies, full lunch, a light dinner menu and, of course, a good cup of tea!
