For the past several years, Fid Resto has hosted Monday Night Supper Clubs for groups, on, you guessed it, Monday nights when the Resto is closed to the public. But there’s been an increasing number of requests from individuals and couples who want to play in the Fid Resto kitchen without having to drum up a bunch of their friends in order to book the space.
Now owners Dennis Johnston and Monica Bauche have opted to open up the concept so that singles and couples can participate, and they’ve block booked two nights in the New Year for this. Here are the dates and the three-course menu. They’ll be taking a maximum of 12 people for each of these two Monday nights:
Monday, January 17
Appetizer: Fid Cakes with D Rock’s Famous Pickled Vegetables & Cilantro
Main Course: Fid Resto Free Range Roasted Chicken Breast With Fresh Potato Gnocchi & White Sauce
Dessert: Moelleux au Chocolat
Monday, February 21
Appetizer: Warm Local Wild Mushroom Tart With Fox Hill Aged Cheddar
Main Course: Braised Lamb Necks with Puy lentils & oven-roasted tomatoes
Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding
