Dr. Murray and his wife Lesley opened Muir Murray Estate Winery in Wolfville in 2009 and produce premium Nova Scotia wines. Over 40 acres are planted with 150 acres more to develop. Muir Murray Estate Winery was the first winery in the province to use the Stelvin screw cap and the first to open a learning institution – AVIEW (Annapolis Valley Institute for the Education of Wine). We are hosting culinary, grape growing, wine making and wine tasting seminars and East Coast Music. In May 2011, our tea room and cottages will open.
