Twenty minutes outside of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia heading east on the Scenic Route 3 you’ll find Eel Lake Oyster Farm nestled in the clean water of Eel Lake, Ste. Anne du Ruisseau.

Each oyster sways comfortably back and forth in their floating habitat, over each wave as the tide flows in and out of this tidal lake.

    I have had the pleasure to enjoy Eel Lake Oysters several times and their flavour is unsurpassed. Clean, crisp with a buttery finish. I always look for Eel Lake oysters when we’re travelling in Nova Scotia, as well as Rodney’s Oyster House in Toronto.
